Itinerary

  • Upon reaching Guwahati, assistance will be rendered for a seamless transition to the hotel for an overnight stay.
  • Kamakhya temple, a renowned Shakti peetha with more than 1 million devotees during the Ambubachhi festival. The next destination must be Kaziranga National Park for checking out resorts in the jungle. Last, explore Tea Estate and stay overnight.
  • Start your day around 5.30 am to inspect the overall scenic beauty of Kaziranga National Park via Elephant Safari, then return back for lunch and again start off to explore the western side of the park on a jeep. You can even stay at Kaziranga.ย 
  • Set off to Kohima by road after breakfast, upon reaching there head straight towards Touphema, run by the Angami Naga community. Later, witness the cultural diversities and then spend the night in the village for a peaceful experience.
  • Roam around freely through the villages in the early morning. Then set off to the next destination, Kohima, and take a look at the State Museum situated at Bayani Hill. After lunch, return to Kepfiizha Dimori Cave Guest House. Visit the nearby village named Angami, and then make your way back to Kohima for the night.ย 
Day 6 :
Khonoma
  • Leave for Khonoma next morning and on the way explore the Angami Tribal village, the home to the father of the the Naga Nationalist Movement, 'Angami Phizo'. and then back to the pavilion (Kohima) for night stay.
  • Travel back to Dimapur after breakfast to continue the journey.ย
