Day 1 :
Getting to Darjeeling
  • Help upon arrival at the airport or train station, then take a drive to Darjeeling.
  • DARJEELING: At 2134 meters above sea level, "Dorje Ling," also known as the Place of the Thunderbolt, is perched high in the Himalayas and provides stunning views of snow-capped mountain peaks, with the Kanchendzonga rising higher than all the others. Known as the "Queen of the Hills" for a long time, it never loses its charm thanks to its small waterfalls, quaint towns, and narrow gauge railroad track. Darjeeling, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and world-famous tea gardens, continues to be one of the most unique travel destinations. "A view Scarcely Unrivalled on Earth" is how Graeme Westlake describes Darjeeling in his book "An introduction to hill stations on India."

Day 2 :
Darjeeling Tour of Sightseeing
  • Visit Tiger Hill in the morning to witness a stunning sunrise and the Himalayan Mountains, which include Mount Everest and the Kanchendzonga.
  • Just before sunrise, the Himalayan range turns all golden, and one can see the horizon changing colors. The sight is incredibly majestic, and on the way back from Tiger Hill, one can see the 15-foot-tall image of Mythey Buddha at Ghoom Monastery, the oldest monastery in the region, which was constructed in 1875.
  • Following your climb of Mt. Everest, continue with a city tour in the afternoon that includes stops at the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), the Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), the Tibetan Refugee Center (closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, and Happy Valley Tea Estate (from outside).

Day 3 :
To Pelling from Darjeeling
  • After a hotel breakfast, head to Pelling by car.
  • PELLING is situated 120 kilometers away from Gangtok. In Sikkim's western district is Pelling, another tranquil mountain village. This village enjoys a breathtaking view of Mount Kanchenjunga and is located at an approximate elevation of 2000 meters.
  • Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 4 :
Pelling Tour of Sightseeing
  • After having breakfast at the hotel, go on a tour of the city, stopping at the Pemayangste Monastery, the Rabtense Ruins, Khechipalri Lake, Kanchenjunga Fall, and Rambi Falls.

Day 5 :
Leave-taking
  • After a hotel breakfast, head to Bagdogra or NJP in time for your next train or flight.
