Trip Highlights

  • En-route visit Sonmarg, cross famous Zojila pass, Drass Village (2nd Coldest Inhabitated place in the World), and have a magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger Tololing) from Vijay war memorial hall site.
  • Visit Alchi, Likir Monastery, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and Hall of Fame museum.
  • Camp at Pangong Lake, hot lunch will be served.
  • Overnight stay on the banks of Pangong Lake.
  • En-route visit Hemis, Thikse Monastery, and Shey Palace.
  • Camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Srinagar to Kargil
  • Take a car to Likir Monastery after breakfast.
  • See Phater Sahib, Magnetic Hill, the Indus and Zansker Sangam while travelling.
  • Proceed to Alchi Monastery by car.
  • Return to Leh by nightfall.
  • Spend the night at the Leh hotel.
Day 2 :
Kargil to Ule
  • Head to Ule after breakfast.
  • While travelling, stop at Mulbek, the enormous living Buddha sculpture atop Rock Mountain in Lamayuru, and take in the moon landscape panorama.
  • Check into the hotel as soon as you arrive in Ule.
  • Spend the night at Ule.
Day 3 :
Ule to Leh
  • Proceed to Leh after breakfast.
  • Visit the Hall of Fame Museum, Likir Monastery, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, and Alchi while travelling.
  • As soon as you get to Leh, register at the hotel.
  • Spend the night in Leh.
Day 4 :
Leh to Pangong Lake
  • Proceed across Changla Pass to Pangong Lake after breakfast.
  • After arriving at the Pangong Lake camp, a delicious lunch will be provided.
  • Use the time for relaxation later on.
  • Savour the dusk on the lake's shores.
  • Spend the night at the Pangong Lake shore.
Day 5 :
Pangong Lake to Leh
  • Savour the beauty of the lake at sunrise in the early morning.
  • Take a trip back to Leh after breakfast.
  • Visit Hemis, Shey Palace, and Thikse Monastery on way.
  • As soon as you get to Leh, register at the hotel.
  • Spend the night in Leh.
Day 6 :
Leh to Nubra Valley
  • Proceed via Khardungla to Nubra Valley after breakfast.
  • Lunch will be provided when you arrive at the camp in Hundur, Nubra Valley
  • Explore Deskit and Hunder Villages later.
  • Between Deskit and Hunder Village, amid the Sand Dunes, is a camel safari.
  • Go back to the camp.
  • Spend the night at Nubra Valley.
Day 7 :
Nubra Valley to Leh
  • Visit Deskit Monastery after breakfast.
  • After that, return to Leh.
  • Proceed across the Khardungla Pass.
  • As soon as you get to Leh, register at the hotel.
  • Spend the night in Leh.
Day 8 :
Departure
  • Check out of the hotel early in the morning and make your way to the Leh Airport to catch your trip home.
